Hello Senior Leigh and others. I helped a friend change spark plugs on an m276 after watching the videos by Sr Leigh. The job was clearly difficult for us. The engine has about 60k miles. The question is about how the old removed plugs looked. The drivers side plugs (4,5,6) looked good as they should. The passenger side (1,2,3) plugs looked totally different with a crusty coating. See the photo. The nice looking plug is from drivers side and all 3 looked about the same. The crusty plug is from passenger side and all three looked crusty. this is the first plug change. Any idea what is going on? The car ran quite good before the change and runs even better with new plugs.

Hello Senior Leigh,
I noticed you using D.Grease on the Coil Connector pins. Is that a good alternative to the very expensive Stabilant 22a that is recommended? Thank you, Mark
Thanks for your response and help. You are very skilled in the maintenance of these cars. You make it look easy.
If the car running good, there is no need to worry with the condition of the spark plugs. that probably the fuel injection volume on the right side cylinders at low speed is slightly larger than that on the left side cylinder, and running a few miles on freeway will burn the crusty out.
