There are three intervals of ATF change for 722.9, 40k miles (4 years) if the vehicle manufactured before 06-18-2010; Or 70k miles (7 years) if the vehicle manufactured after 06-21-2010; From model 2016, 60k miles (6 years).

If washer pumps get old or defective by an electrical surge, they can not provide the power to spray and wash the windshield. An obvious indicator that your washer pump is failing that is no washing fluid spray out.  with normal washer fluid capacity when you press the switch of the washing windshield. This part is controlled by the SAM, no fuse, no error code.

That's required every 60k miles or 6 years to replace the spark plugs in the MB maintenance booklet. To the NA engine of M276 DE35, there's a step to remove the intake manifold to reach the ignition coil in the WIS. But that must replace a set of intake plenum gaskets with more labor. Removing the ECU may make more room to reach the concealed ignition coil and spark plugs.

The vehicle's engine water pump is responsible for keeping coolant flowing through the engine. As water pumps get old the internal bearing can go bad causing noise and a coolant leak. A good indicator that your water pump is failing is if you see coolant leaking through the water pump "weep hole".
